Capsule review:

Chef Erick Harcey, who grew up on a farm near Winona, puts a strong emphasis on locally grown and sustainably produced meats and produce, and his menu features grass-fed beef from Thousand Hills in Cannon Falls, poultry from Wild Acres Game Farm in Pequot Lakes, and much more. The view of the Mississippi and the downtown skyline is charming. The cuisine is elegant without being fussy. At $30 per person, the inn's five-course Sunday brunch is one of the most expensive in town. Wine list: Full bar.
