The Italian-inspired menu at this warm, unusually handsome restaurant and bar (sibling to Zelo in downtown Minneapolis and Ciao Bella in Bloomington) emphasizes fish. Appetizers include quick-seared scallops, Parmesan-crusted oysters and wood-roasted mussels in a basil-white wine-saffron sauce. On the entree side, there's walleye, dredged in buttermilk and panko, pan-fried and served with mashed potatoes and farm-fresh marinated tomatoes; velvety salmon in a citrus-wasabi vinaigrette and summer peas; and grilled yellowfin tuna. Meat lovers can choose from a bone-in New York strip, veal Porterhouse, mesquite-grilled pork tenderloin and spit-roasted free-range chicken. Thin-crust pizzas are baked in a wood-burning oven. Desserts are first-rate. Wine list: More than 100 American and Italian names, with nearly two dozen by-the-glass choices. ( , )
