Gluek’s is an old haunt. It’s been knocked out of commission twice, once by Prohibition and once by a fire, only to come roaring back again and again. It has the perfect low-vaulted ceiling of a beer hall, and stained glass peppers the aged bar, a mesmerizing kaleidoscope after a few tipples.
