Some say the old-school neighborhood tavern Adrian's is the original home of the Jucy Lucy, the stuffed hamburger food mascot of South Minneapolis -- whether that's true is irrelevant to the tavern's main draw, which is big servings of hearty classic American food for a reasonably low price.

An honest-to-god neighborhood bar and grill offering a long menu of burgers, from basics (cheeseburgers, California burgers) to exotic (black bean with lettuce and salsa, cheese with sauerkraut, turkey with tomatoes and mayo), grilled chicken, fish and chips and a dozen deep-fried bar snacks.
