The Retractions

Good news for barflies. Electric bassist and excellent singer Ron Haddock is back from Texas, and that means that a fine and fun combo called the Retractions can stage a reunion. The Retractions are known for their swell harmony vocals, and their tasty mix of roots-rock, classy legit country, cool covers and a healthy sense of humor -- heck, the band was originally known as the Alfalpha Males. You'll recognize these familiar faces -- Tim Belden, keyboards, accordion; Tedd Halvorson, guitar; Kipp Galloway, drums – from such bygone groups as the Ranchtones, Red Snappers, Molly & the Heymakers, Hillbilly Voodoo Dolls, the Paulette Carlson Band, et al.
