Seun Kuti & Egypt 80

Seun Kuti's insistent new protest song "I.M.F." has a cool black & white video that's a YouTube hit, but you won't be hearing it on the radio since "I.M.F." is XXX-rated. But it's sure to be played live on the West Bank this week, along with other new tracks from Seun Kuti and Egypt 80's recently released album, "A Long Way To The Beginning." Roughly 70 per cent of the band are holdovers from the days when Seun's legendary and mercurial dad, Fela Kuti, was the undisputed king of Afro-beat, and Fela certainly remains Egypt 80's biggest inspiration.
