Riff Raff

The alleged inspiration for James Franco’s character in “Spring Breakers,” Riff Raff is embarking on his first headlining tour (VIP pizza parties are promised). The real-life Horst Simco is no stranger to Minnesota; he briefly attended Hibbing Community College before returning to his native Houston. The inked-up and cornrowed viral MC is set to issue his second studio album, “Neon Icon,” April 29 on Diplo’s Mad Decent imprint. If lead single “Dolce & Gabbana” is any indication, the guest-packed effort will be anchored by more trap-informed beats and Simco’s self-aggrandizing wangster persona. Riff Raff — who recently announced he’s pursuing country music, which is only odd outside of the Riff Raff universe — has also been romantically linked to Katy Perry (ditto). The guy’s either crazy unique or a crazy-good marketing gimmick. Grandtheft opens. Jay Boller
