R. J. Mischo

Doing some recording while he's in town from Arkansas, former Twin Citian and internationally-renowned blues harmonica ace R.J. Mischo returns to the Schooner Tavern with a cast of bar all-stars in tow. The great Jeremy Johnson, Mischo's touring partner at festivals and bars around the globe, will be on guitar. And for Twin Cities blues, you can't beat the rhythm section of mutton-chopped Billy Black, longtime Senders bassist, and Robb Stupka, the sure-handed, superb drummer of The Butanes. Stupka's also the veteran of a slew of fine blues, soul and jazz CD sessions for the Severn Records label of Maryland. Recommended, and free! Tom Surowicz
