Minnesota Dance Theatre

Minnesota Dance Theatre is presenting two new works from some big names in ballet. Martine Van Hamel (American Ballet Theatre) tackles a contemporary perspective with “Trio á Deux” set to Beethoven’s “String Trio in G Major” while Adam Hendrickson (New York City Ballet) will quicken the pace with the duet “Prestissimo” (performed to Verdi’s “String Quartet in E Minor”). The program also includes the world premiere of “Frames/d” from MDT artistic director Lise Houlton plus works by Alonzo King and MDT founder Loyce Houlton.
