An ensemble from the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra opens the three-day event with Beethoven’s Septet in E-flat, one of his most popular works while he was alive — so popular that he expressed embarrassment at it. In the midst of a roster of jazz, rock and salsa musicians will be performances by Minnesota Opera and the Ancia Saxophone Quartet, presented by the Schubert Club. William Randall Beard
